New Word in the Dictionary

Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary has added some new terms including chick flick, bikini wax, and brain freeze. The Fox News article lists some others. As a the wife of a retired military officer I was interested to see that “Battle dress uniform (noun): a military uniform for field service.” has been added. I just wonder if they also plan on adding BDU which is the abbreviation for battle dress uniform. They added the abbreviation for the Department of Homeland Security this year.
