Virtual schools - Not Homeschooling?

“They don’t even consider this homeschooling. It’s public schooling that’s a virtual school… There’s a lot of accountability.”
This is from an article about online homeschooling through a public school program. I like that the mom in this story calls it like it is. This isn’t homeschooling. It’s public schooling by compouter. They call all the shots.
