We’re Back

HS Blog went down on Sept. 21 and finally we got ourselves back online yesterday. Who you register your domain through makes a difference. I’ve learned that saving money can come back to bite you later. The company I had registered 9 domains through was bought out by another business. In taking over the business they managed to replace all the admin data on the domains that they were acting as resellers for with their own corporate information. They managed this even after I thought I had removed the domains from the hands back in June. So when it came time to renew the first of those nine domains - hsblog.org - I wasn’t notified, and the domain expired. I spent two weeks trying to get access to my domains and take care of the matter. Finally managed to and am once again in full control of the domains I own. Needless to say, I’m moving them all right away to another registrar.
I’m going to go through the archives at homeschoolbuzz.com and see if there’s anything I’ve missed that I wanted to comment on. Otherwise, I’ll just move on from here.
